Introducing SNAP-SHOT — from SNAP Parent Carer Forum

We know that finding clear, reliable information about SEND and understanding what support is available can be difficult for parent carers.

That’s why we’re developing SNAP-SHOT, bringing you clear information, practical guidance and local opportunities.

Starting with our new community newsletter, we’ll be sharing useful local information, updates and opportunities for families of children and young people with SEND in Central Bedfordshire.

Over the coming months, we’ll also be developing short information sheets and training videos to help parent carers build their knowledge and confidence.

Alongside this, we’re developing a new SEND Navigator Service, planned to launch in 2027. The service will offer signposting, information and time-limited support to parent carers of children and young people with SEND who attend mainstream school without an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in Central Bedfordshire. More information will be shared as the service develops.

SNAPSHOT — SNAP Parent Carer Forum, bringing you clear information. Practical guidance. Local opportunities.
